iCanConnect :This is a federal pilot project to provide telecommunications equipment to individuals with low income and BOTH vision loss and hearing loss. Only one agency per state is able to disseminate funds and in Ohio, that agency is Columbus Speech & Hearing Center, but they have a local representative who works with Deaf-Blind individuals. Equipment can be hardware, software or other equipment – see the full list on the website. Please pass this information along to anyone who may be interested. The project started in July 2012 and runs for two years (possibly extended to a third year).
